F.O.R.K. Networking
Jon Daniels The pet project of apex, our Fearless Admin, Fork Networking was once merely a kernel of code in the imagination of a gnat. Started in 1995 by hosting servers and sites for friends and family, Fork Networking was finally given the push towards Conglomeration it needed when our founder gave up the easy life of glory and money as a commercial fisherman in Alaska to pursue his real loves; computers, the internet and technology, creation and teaching. Fork Networking at it's best. Jon has brought his life's focus of expertise to a sharp point in Fork Networking. Wanting only to explore the vast depths of technology and to then share this knowledge amongst others, he's found the perfect union between happiness and occupation.
Justin Schwalbe ob1 (not to be confused with the Star Wars character of the same name, whom I must add, is much less skillful in the ways of the Force...) spends his waking hours haunting the dark cells of rackmount servers and that lonely space between ethernet cables. Justin senses disruptions in the Network and confounds would-be-attackers with clones of themselves. When Justin dares venture into the light of day, squinting, stumbling, mumbling something about packet loss, he's overloaded with books and papers piled almost to the sky. Forced to undergo rigorous and completely pointless tests of rote memorization he waves his hand before his teachers faces and passes class without fail.
Tom Fuller The elfling keeb, much smaller than the average man, carries an altogether different kind of burden. A family man, a married man, Tom represents all that is good and right in the world. But when that left eye twinkles you'd better grab onto your copy of Photoshop before it's pummeled into a shapeless grey mass and one-way rendered into a masterpiece of webart. With his elven ways he snatches drifting fragments of php code from thin air and holds them hostage in an array of tattered notebooks kept around his neck at all times. One should only meet keeb after he's had his daily dose of html-induced meditation.
Together, this weary trio manages to impart upon each customer the high quality of service and support that they have gotten so little of themselves, because in the end, it's what we love to do.
