Same error, but solutions not working
Posted: Mon Jan 10, 2005 9:47 amI am having the same compile error, but chmodding files, and instlling the 10.3 dev tools has not worked. Any suggestions?
I've used the cc, gcc, c++, and g++ env CC variables, and none work.
BTW here's what's going on:
checking host system type... powerpc-apple-darwin7.7.0
checking for gcc3... c++
checking for gcc... (cached) c++
checking whether the C compiler (c++ ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables.
