Hey....I'm utterly lost trying to use Linux things in OS X.I downloaded the source code stuff for SMAUG (if you don't know, a type of MUD) and in the faq it says i have to decompress it in my home directory...I can decompress it and everything with Terminal or Stuffit, but i just don't undertstand what my "home directory" would be on X. Can someone help me out please? ~ Ender

When in the terminal your home directory is specified by using <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">code:</font><HR><pre>~username</pre>[/quote]

For a Mac OS X Command Line tutorial visit <A HREF="http://www.macosx.org/clitutorial.html" TARGET=_blank>http://www.macosx.org/clitutorial.html</A> .
