Dumb question!?!?

OK.. I'm running a Beige G3/333 with 10.04 Server. I just added more memory and now it does not see it properly. It's a 512MB stick. Has anyone seen this issue or know of memory limitations to the 512 chips????

if i remember correctly, the beige g3's maxed out at 768mb, which would be 3 256 chips. i don't think they support 512mb chips, even if they do fit. you have a minitower, so it's not a problem, but the dt machines won't fit anything bigger than a 256, and even then it has to be a low profile chip.
