port of freeamp?

Postby al3x » Mon Aug 13, 2001 5:30 pm

would it be possible to port the mp3 player freeamp (at www.freeamp.org) over to OSX? i don't actually need it to play mp3s, but to download whole albums from eMusic, which no other player supports.

thoughts? thanks.

I came across a shitload of errors on this one.. I'll keep working on it for a bit, but don't hold your breath. The place that was causing the errors was actually the lib that it made me (try) and install, "MusicBrainz".
Sorry man. Maybe apex will give it a go.

Any further word on a Freeamp port? I too am very interested in the Emusic download. The Freeamp site sez a Mac version is underway, but no estimate or timeframe. Any one?
