ICMP scanner "X"

Postby infaux » Sun Oct 07, 2001 7:37 am

I saw Ofir Arkin's presentation on this at defcon this year and it was amazing, this thing literally blows nmap out of the water for the specific task to remote OS fingerprinting. This should be a relativly simple port as it's relativly simple code, only thing it needs is libpcap(why he chose to use X is beyond me because he knows there are all sort of things called x and this only leads to confusion...but I guess the tool is called xprobe, but still...)

thanks
