Webalizer and libpng problems.

Okey, I installed Webalizer and I installed libpng.

But still Webalizer won't work..

dyld: webalizer can't open library: /usr/local/lib/libpng.2.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

The libpng install only seem to install "libpng.a", and Webalizer wan't libpng.2.dylib.

What should I do?

Hmm, not sure whats happened there, that libpng package was ancient. I've created a new one: http://macosx.forked.net/download.php?j=http://macosx.forked.net/ports/libpng-1.0.12.pkg.tgz

I was getting the same error message as the original poster after installing Webalizer. Subsequently, I downloaded and installed the libpng package noted by Apex above and now get the following error:

dyld: ./webalizer can't open library: /usr/local/lib/libpng.2.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

Any thoughts? I'd **really** like to be able to use Webalizer! Thanks!

After installing webalizer and the libpng update I get

"dyld: webalizer version mismatch for library: /usr/lib/libz.1.dylib (compatibility version of user: 1.1.3 greater that library's version: 1.0.0)"

Try to download the libpng from fink...

fink install libpng3

fink install webalizer if you want
