pdflib module for PHP

I've saved this module in a directory where apache can get to it. I've setup my PHP.ini file to point to that directory. And I've added the extension=pdflib_php.dylib line in PHP.ini.

When I try and restart Apache, Apache fails.

Has anyone successfully setup pdflib on OS X Server?

Server profile:
PHP 4.3.2
PDFlib 5.0.1
OS 10.2.6 Server
