Strange xmms problem

Installed all dependencies and xmms itself, started esd as root, get the following error:
[blue-mac:~] ericpete% xmms
dyld: xmms can't open library: /usr/local/lib/libdl.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

ok, so what's up with this?

Any help appreciated.

grab libdl from the site.

I have had the same trobble and with libdl insatlled. It says it cant find it any ideas?
