GIMP library file

when i type gimp at my XDarwin terminal i get the following error about a missing library file. its not where it looks in usr/local/lib or even in usr/lib though that second directory has many similarly named files:

dyld: gimp can't open library: /usr/local/lib/libdl.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

can someone who has this working tell me what their usr/local/lib looks like and why mine doesn't look right ... any help is appreciated.

Go to the Library section and download / install libdl. That took care of the problem for me.
