SLang and mc

I am trying to install SLang on pb running OSX 10.1.2 in order to install mc. However, the package I downloaded from forked gives me a error message 'There were errors
Could not set file attributes' and it does not install at all SLang... help please

the installer is wrong:
locate the .pkg;
ctrl-click it and choose "show pack. cont."
open the folders untill you find "SLang-1.4.4.info"
alter "NeedsAuthorization NO" into "NeedsAuthorization YES"

it at least installed here.
