libshout-perl is a library (written in c) that allows perl scripts to access the functions in libshout, which is a library that allows applications to stream mp3 files via an icecast streamer. More information and download at <A HREF="http://cvs.icecast.org/cvsweb.cgi/libshout-perl/" TARGET=_blank>http://cvs.icecast.org/cvsweb.cgi/libshout-perl/</A>
Sadly I have never used CVS. Could you possibly tell me how to access the libshout-perl package?

Perhaps yes, but look at libshout in the post below. I think you'll find that a comfortable and familiar hunk of C. <grin>
