Yah, it just came out and I tried to build it. It doesn't know the system type for OS X (powerpc-apple-darwin1.4). I tried it with powerpc-apple-netbsd (close enough right? [img]images/icons/smile.gif"%20border="0[/img]) but it didn't seem to agree with it either. 'configure' went thru ok, but other than that it just borked on the build itself. Thanks!

I totally agree. I tried to find emacs for mac, but I only found the Carbon version which to me seemed like they'd tried to make emacs mac-like, but failed [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif"%20border="0[/img]
I'd rather have it really unix then. Fink has version 20.7 of emacs, but I can't get that since my mac isn't on the internet and I have to download stuff and transfer it over there afterwards.
Maybe you'd do something about this?
