irssi

Please make a binary of the irc client irssi (www.irssi.org). I'd really appreciate that [img]images/icons/smile.gif"%20border="0[/img]

There is a irssi port on fink.
I can't get it to compile on OS X 10.2, but it worked fine on OS X 10.1.x.

The only problem is that the Fink version doesn't include the Perl modules, which takes away the best features of irssi [img]images/icons/frown.gif"%20border="0[/img]

I second the request, if that's possible [img]images/icons/smile.gif"%20border="0[/img]

I could get it to compile via fink, but it was a dud...use Blackened and suitable script instead

hmm, I did get irssi up and running via fink, can't remember if it supported perl or not...
ircii compiled nicely -> ./configure, make, sudo make install and that was it... Blackened crashed all the time after all [img]images/icons/frown.gif"%20border="0[/img]

while not in package form, opendarwin's darwinports project has an irssi port that includes perl support.
