bitchx - /usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols:

ok, so I thought I'd try bitchx to replace ircII on my macosx system. I have the latest apple dev tools and macosx 10.1.2. I also have ncurses, zlib, and tons of other stuff.

Compiling goes pretty well until I get to this:
<blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">code:</font><hr><pre>
cc -shared autobot.o ../dllinit.o -fPIC -o autobot.so
/usr/bin/ld: Undefined symbols:
_main
make[2]: *** [autobot.so] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all] Error 1
make: *** [dll] Error 2
</pre>[/quote]
then I'm spit back into bash ;-)

I don't know what autobot is, but it doesn't sound like something I need. Any ideas?

Thanks, and your site rocks

I realized I really don't want this autobot.c thing compiled anyway, after reading about it.

Is there any way to make bitchx compile without it? I tried renaming its directory, but make halts when it can't find it.

Any suggestions?
