GAIM

Geesh, there have been a lot of Gaim errors/threads lately...

Anyways, I am trying to compile Gaim and when i do "make", I get this error:

/usr/bin/ld: -undefined error must be used when -twolevel_namespace is in effect
make[2]: *** [autorecon.so] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

Any ideas on what i am missing or what is wrong?

if you look back further in the output from make, you'll find:

/usr/local/include/gdk/gdkprivate.h:31: header file 'X11/Xlib.h' not found
/usr/local/include/gdk/gdkprivate.h:32: header file 'X11/Xutil.h' not found
/usr/local/include/gdk/gdkprivate.h:64: undefined type, found `Window'
/usr/local/include/gdk/gdkprivate.h:65: undefined type, found `Display'
/usr/local/include/gdk/gdkprivate.h:87: undefined type, found `XImage'
/usr/local/include/gdk/gdkprivate.h:88: undefined type, found `Display'

and so forth.

I searched my system for Xlib.h and Xutil.h, but found neither. I googled ad nauseum, but only found postings about problems and no solutions. If I figure it out, I'll post, but until then, I'm stuck too. Anyone know where Xlib.h is/should be?
