Newbie need some help...plz...

Hmm...I install window maker in XDarwin not even knowing if im supposed to or not...but now then i start XDarwin....nothing happens...i see the cursor nothing else...and it just quits? Umm..so what did i do wrong?

and also...someone tell me how to get that make command to work....also gcc....

....i know a little bit of unix from the course that i do...but when i download files from my uni and type "make" as they tell me to...it says " make: gcc: Command not found"....so some help will be much appreciated...

sounds like you've yet to install the developer tools cd that came with your osx disk. it has make and gcc and all that fun stuff.

as to xdarwin, i don't know. mine doesn't work either.
